Jumeirah Golf Estates | Dubai

When we first met David, the property owner of a charming 2-bedroom apartment in Jumeirah Golf Estates, he was quite overwhelmed as he was relocating from Dubai and wanted to get his property on the market as quickly as possible.  This meant we had to be strategic in sourcing quality, readily available items from the market, and also create a design scheme that was going to stand out.

David was keen to incorporate natural materials in a clean, modern, and warm design, and he spoke of his love for nature, the sea, and diving. We thought this was the perfect opportunity to give the property the unique edge we were looking for.

With that in mind, we created a warm palette of natural materials with a modern luxury feel such as stone, marble, bamboo, sisal, and wood.  To make the decor really stand out, we accentuated the natural palette with pops of various shades of blue that also nodded to the sea. 

The artworks and accessories further expanded on the story of the sea – David was an avid deep-sea photographer and we integrated some of his photography with other artworks we sourced that complimented the furnishings and gave the space an original edge, which resulted in him not having to wait too long to get new bookings.
